Ragnar the hunter has arrived! He stands by the depot of Thais, Carlin, Venore, Ab'dendriel, Kazordoon, Edron, Darashia, Ankrahmun and Port Hope and pays experience and gold to whoever hunts the monsters he asks for.
- How to take one: say "hi" and "task" to Ragnar, pick a task for your level and confirm with "sim".
- 21 tasks: from trolls and rotworms (level 8) up to dragon lords, warlocks, the Forgotten Tomb and demons (level 110).
- Reward: about half of the experience the task monsters give, plus gold. Go back to any Ragnar and say "recompensa". You can repeat tasks as many times as you want.
- In a group: everyone who hits the monster gets the kill, and party members close by too. An elite monster counts as 2.
In the game, say "!task" to see how many are left. The full list, where each Ragnar is and the top hunters are on the Tasks.
Items page: in the Library, the Items page shows every item that exists in the game, by category (helmets, armors, shields, swords, wands, rings, runes and more), with attack, defense, armor, effects and how to get it: which monsters drop it, which NPC sells it and for how much, and which ones come from quests.
Rates back to the original: experience 5x at every level, skills 3x and magic level 3x, like when the server started. The game is slower and skills keep up better with your level. Nobody loses anything: characters keep the level and skills they already have.
Loot: gold and common items still drop at double rate (2x). Rare items, with a chance below 5% (magic plate armor, golden legs, demon shield, rings and others), go back to the normal chance (1x), so they stay valuable.
New client with a revised bot: the client now comes with only two bot options, tested on OldThunder: vBot 4.8 (selected by default) and cavebot 1.3. In vBot, healing with mana fluid now works, the CaveBot stores loot in the depot, "Eat Food" no longer spams and TargetBot comes with a ready profile. Download it again on the Download the client page and extract it over the old folder: your routes and settings are kept.
